Foundational Paper Piecing Classes are held Every Other Saturday. Each Saturday participants are able to choose to attend either the 2hour or 4hour version of the class. The Four Hour Version. 1PM-5:30PM: Participants pick out and pay for their Legit Kits and the fabrics that go with their kits. We have a variety of Legit Kits in the store, but our selection may be limited due to customer purchases. Participants can always purchase their own kits online, from Legit Kit, and bring their kit to the lesson.
Kathy, our instructor, will spend two hours helping you pick out the fabrics you will need for your kits. Most of these kits require a minimum of 40 different fabric colors. Kathy will assist you with picking out fabrics that will go well together and fit with the overall aesthetic of your project.
The first two hours of this class take place when the store is open, so there will be other customers in the store.
The Two Hour Version 3:30PM-5:30PM: The store will be closed during the two hour version of this class, which allows participants to spread out their work and not be interrupted by customers in the store. During this class Kathy will help participants learn how to organize and construct their kits. Individuals who have already begun working on a kit, but need help on a portion they are working on, may also come to this lesson for assistance.
The Cost of the Four Hour class is $40.
The Cost of the Two Hour Class is $20.
Space for this class is limited so participants must sign up 24hours before the scheduled class.
