- Fuel Reduction & Fire Safety
Partnering with Cascadia Conservation and our local fire district, volunteers will help chip and clear slash piles along the western edge of the Gardens—important work that strengthens our defensible space and reduces wildfire risk.
- Biokiln Workshop & Demo
In our overflow parking lot, we’ll introduce the community to a biokiln, a flame-cap kiln that turns woody debris into biochar. This method is safe, sustainable, and especially valuable for property owners in fire-prone areas. Come learn how it works—and why it matters.
