An Introduction to Makaton, ideal for anyone wishing to learn basic day to day signs and symbols. Learn 34 core concepts essential to makaton users and additional high frencency vocabulary, suitable in a home, school and community setting.
If you live or work with young people and adults who may have communication difficulties or may come into contact with those who require non verbal communication this introductory workshop is ideal.
Suitable for families, community orgnsations and professionals new top Makaton.The heavily subsidised by Loud Arts CIC meaning learners only pay £10pp. Ensure that you can include those who need augmentative or alternative communication methods. Suitable for all age 16+ or 14+ if accompied by an adult who is also booked onto the workshop.
