About this Event
There was only one "her" and that was jazz music. Based on true testimonies, the Fillmore 1950's Jazz Era comes back to life thorugh the characters Major, the Aquino sisters, Frank Blue, Ginger, and Sticks, adapted from Niyah Moore's novel of the same title. A romantic comedy that celebrates the culture and music of that time.
Come see the outstanding actors from DIRECT FROM DEATH ROW - THE SCOTTSBORO BOYS (Tylre Allen, Maurice Cephus III, Conrad Crump, Howie Bryant, Naimah Moon, Helen Terry), and DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE (Carla Fleming)! In addition, Shane Brady and Shay LeDetria contributing their talents.
After the play, patrons are invited to a talkback session and book signing with playwright Niyah Moore.
