Dr. Jennifer Jurado is the Chief Resilience Officer for Broward County, where she leads countywide strategy on climate resilience, flooding, storm protection, and long-term coastal planning. Recognized by the White House for her leadership, Dr. Jurado is one of the most respected voices in the nation on sea-level rise and community resilience.
On December 2, she will present an important update on Resilient Broward, the County’s major resilience plan. Her briefing will cover flooding and drainage improvements, storm surge and sea-level rise projections, coastal protection priorities, and what these changes mean for Hollywood, Dania Beach, and Hallandale Beach in the decades ahead.
