Majo & Rodrigo in CLE!

We are back!! Guardia Vieja is overjoyed to be collaborating with Drew & Soph Tango to bring the incredibly charismatic and energizing Tango dancers and instructors Majo Martirena & Rodrigo Fonti to Cleveland for a week of exciting Tango experiences that we look forward to sharing with all of you!

Info: Majo & Rodrigo take over Pooja’s Practica to share a workshop called Transformers Tango Technique. Note: The workshop is 75 minutes, but we will still have plenty of time to practice and hang out before and after, and Pooja will still be curating a playlist that will be shared with all attendees.

Info: Majo & Rodrigo guide us through the crude reality of the ochos. Lead and execution. Equilibrium of the opposites in the points of contact.

Info: Our very own DJ Kim Scola will keep us dancing before and after incredible performances by Majo & Rodrigo. And of course, it wouldn’t be a Guardia Vieja event without some libations. Liz of Chemical X Bartending will be back with some new concoctions just for us!

Info: Milongueros movements are adapted to Majo & Rodrigo’s style. Linear crossings of men and women with different rhythms and dynamic.

Info: We will dance through the game and exercises, to increase our listening with our partner. Changing roles, musical proposal and fun!!
