Majik Band is a local Nevada County triumvirate of lifelong musicians who have struck gold with their fluid chemistry. Reaping influence from many realms of musical alchemy, this is a prime example of the whole being more than the sum of its parts. Majik Band diverts from the well-worn path and carves out its own captivating sound.
Majik Band brings the funky, electro, psych-rock vibes layered with rich blues flavor and a fresh sense of originality. This band has leveled up with the recent addition of Pancho Tomaselli (Katie Knipp, Las Noches) on bass. This longtime music industry veteran previously toured with War and Tower of Power. He even has his own signature model bass from G&L. We are thrilled to have them back for the first time in years and to witness their progression.
