Majestic Moments: Peace and Joy in Turbulent Times

You are invited to my opening solo art exhibition reception. It will be held at Quid Nunc Gallery located at 1007 North Charles Street, First Floor, Baltimore, MD 21201 on November 15, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. Music will be provided by DJ Damond Ramsey. Light refreshments will be provided. This event is free. All are welcome to attend.

Majestic Moments: Peace and Joy is a collection of my acrylic and oil paintings featuring my loved ones, friends, acquaintances, and colleagues. With each piece, I captured their happy and peaceful moments. In today’s toxic political climate of authoritarianism, regression and intolerance, joy and peace are defiant acts of resistance. To celebrate our African heritage and ancestors, my exhibition features several images of Black people wearing traditional African clothing. As an ode to nature and the universe, the pieces include literal and symbolic elements of earth, air, water, and fire reflected in the background colors and settings.
