Session 2 - Energy Efficiency in older buildings
This introductory training will equip attendees with insights into cost-effective measures designed to lower energy bills and minimize environmental impact, all whilst preserving the historic charm of a property.
During the session we will investigate thermal performance of traditional buildings and what factors can affect this, for example the condition of the building, moisture content, ventilation and building materials and methods.
We will discuss the simple changes that can be made quickly and easily, as well as the more together with Laws and Regulations that may affect the choices owners and custodians make.
