The SFCO celebrates the conclusion of an incredible 2023/24 Season with Mozart's dynamic Symphony No. 40 ("The Great") as the headliner!
About this Event

It's been an exciting season at the SFCO, culminating in the official announcement of SFCO's long-time violinist and violist, Jory Fankuchen, appointed for the long term as Principal Conductor. We couldn't be more thrilled!!!

We'll open with the world premiere of Trevor Weston's Aqua, which addresses how too much or too little water has and continues to affect our planet. We'll then launch into Respighi's delightful Ancient Airs and Dances for string orchestra. Mozart's outstanding Great G minor Symphony No. 40 brings us to the end of an incredible season.

We're able to present our free and fully professional concerts due in part to the generosity and support of our Membership Donations. Because we don't have assigned seating, a huge Membership perk allows for early entry (up to an hour beforehand) into the concert hall to choose one's perfect seat.

Not a member? Not a problem! The doors open at 7:15 for all.

If you are not yet a sustaining supporter, please consider becoming a member and helping to advance our mission as we bring new ways of enjoying and understanding classical music to the community while tearing down barriers to the art form.

Tickets are not required but it helps us to know you're coming!
