We are also excited about what our Partner, PERMATOURS, is curating in the Fest's AREA B - FREE & accessible to the public (except for Saturday night from 5:45 PM - midnight).
AREA B will include live visual & performing artists, dance, DJs bands, comedy, spoken word, healing arts & wellness offerings, holistic practitioners, community art piece creation, circus arts, partner acrobatics, an acro jam, mushroom parades, a vegete-ball, activists, local vendors, mushroom storytime for kids, face & body painting & more!
There will also be a Tea Lounge, a sound healing & body work space, and a film screening room.

MAINE FUNGI FEST HISTORY:
In 2021 the Maine Consciousness, Healing, and Living Medicine Project was founded by Jonathan Leavitt and Dustin Sulak, DO with the simple intention of expanding the discussion on psychedelics and consciousness here in Maine.
In 2022 came the first annual Maine Fungi Fest, where folks interested in "All Things Fungi, Plant Based Medicine, and Evolving Consciousness" could come together to learn, teach, inspire, network, and create around these themes.The first year was a one day event held at the Portland Expo Center.
In 2023 the event was expanded and relocated to the Holiday Inn by the Bay in Portland providing better accommodations for 2.5 days of workshops, speakers, demonstrations, meals, lodging, and creative exchanges.

2024 VENUE DETAILS:
Maine Fungi Fest will be held at the University of Southern Maine - Portland, located conveniently in downtown Portland and only minutes from Interstate's Rt. 95 and Rt. 295
ON CAMPUS LODGING:
Portland Commons is located right next to our event program area. All rooms within Portland Commons have in-suite restrooms. All bedrooms have a full XL or twin XL bed w/linen (double apartments), an individual closet, a desk, a chair, and a bureau.
Rooms can be purchased on ME Fungi Fest’s website for both Friday Night and/or Saturday Night. Check in time & check out time TBD.
EVENT PARKING:
Parking rate for Maine Fungi Fest is $5/day for conference attendees. Conference attendees will receive a promo code to use. This will be sent to registered attendees prior to the event along with payment information. The Parking garage is located at 88 Bedford St. and is conveniently attached to the Abromson Center.
