About the Artist
Paige Rutledge sparkles on stage - both figuratively, and literally. Her vibrant personality and rhinestone-studded guitar elevate her already commanding presence. Falling in love with country music from an early age, Paige’s first live performance was actually for loved ones at her grandfather’s funeral. Here she learned just how powerful music can be in connecting people from all walks of life. With a newfound passion in hand, Paige set out on her dream to be a country artist, which meant parental supervision as she hit the stage playing in bars at just thirteen years old.
Flash forward to 2020, Paige released “Take Me Back to Tiki”, followed by 2021 singles “Broken Record” and “Sunshine Sunday”. In 2022, Paige gained momentum with her single “Drinking Alone”, which landed her the cover of Amazon Music’s Breakthrough Country playlist. She followed this up with “Ain’t That Bad”, her Broadway debut in Nashville, a headlining slot at Soundcheck Entertainment’s Summer Jam and a showcase at the CCMA’s with the Blue Jays Sessions & All Woman Music.
2023 proved to be Paige’s best year yet with her heartfelt single, “Gone Ain’t Really Gone”, followed by the pleading ballad, “The Worst Thing”. “The Worst Thing” earned Paige a slot in regular rotation on SiriusXM Radio’s Top Of The Country. Paige showcased at the CMAOntario Awards weekend, headlined Yonge and Dundas Square, and was a finalist in Lucknow’s Music in the Fields Emerging Artist Showdown. Paige also opened for Walker Hayes at Thunder Bay’s Country on the Bay summer festival. To cap off the year, she showcased at the CCMA’s Country Music Week with the Diamonds in the Rough Showcase and released the stripped-down version and video for “The Worst Thing”.
Paige has received editorial support on several playlists, including Spotify’s RADAR and Live Country (now North Country), and Amazon Music’s Breakthrough Country, Just North of Nashville, and Brand New Music.
Between writing and recording her next project, Paige takes the stage at some of Ontario’s favourite country music venues, including the Stampede Ranch in Guelph and Big Texas in Niagara Falls.
Paige released her debut EP, “Break Up Rules”, in September 2024 highlighting the release with a performance at The Rivoli in Toronto.
This summer Paige provided support for Tyler Joe Miller and Jason McCoy at the Hollyrood Country Jamboree, The Redhill Valleys at Boots in the Creek, and performed at North of Nowhere. Stay tuned for more show announcements throughout the year.
