Queen of HeartsThis ensemble made a brilliant debut in our series five years ago, and we could not wait any longer to welcome them back. The Gesualdo Six will present a selection of Renaissance motets and chansons from the French court, by composers such as Josquin des Prez, Antoine Brumel, Johannes Ockeghem, and Jean L’Héritier, focusing on European queens including Anne of Brittany, Margaret of Austria, Anne Boleyn, and Mary Tudor.
