In this 90 minute workshop you will learn how to work with UV resin to make a piece of jewellery and an eco-resin trinket tray. (We understand that resin is a chemical and some people could have an allergic reaction to it, so please read our disclaimer below carefully).
All materials, plus medical-grade masks and nitrile gloves will be supplied. Age 12+

Welcome to our Resin Art Workshop! We are excited to have you join us in exploring the creative possibilities of resin art. 1. Material Safety : Epoxy resin and hardeners may contain chemicals that can cause irritation or allergic reactions. Always handle materials with care and be aware of any personal allergies or sensitivities.
2. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) : Participants are required to wear appropriate PPE, including nitrile gloves and a medical-grade mask which will be provided, to minimise exposure to fumes and skin contact with resin.
3. Ventilation : We will ensure that the workshop area is well-ventilated. If you experience any discomfort or difficulty breathing, please inform Dianne, the instructor or any member of Craft Coop team, immediately.
4. Workspace Precautions : Keep your work area clean and free from clutter. Be cautious of spills, and clean up any resin drips or spills promptly to prevent slipping hazards.
5. Children and Pets : This workshop is not suitable for young children or pets. Please ensure that they are not present during the session.
6. Injury Prevention : Use tools and equipment as instructed. In case of any injuries, please notify Dianne immediately.
7. Follow Instructions : Always follow the guidelines and instructions provided by Dianne, the workshop instructor. If you have any questions or concerns about the materials or techniques being used, please ask for clarification.
8. Health Conditions : If you have any pre-existing health conditions or are pregnant, please consult with a medical professional before participating in this workshop.
