Whether you are an avid runner or new to the marathon world, join us for a great cause! We don’t care if you walk, jog, or run. Just show up and represent the community we all love and help give back in a BIG way! This is a family friendly event so have the kids lace up their shoes and run off some energy! We have chosen Vancouver Success Academy's IMPACT program via the Foundation for Vancouver Public Schools as the beneficiary of this years' race. This foundation was established in 1988 to support Vancouver Public Schools as a vision of Dr. Jim Parsley, the Superintendent of VPS from 1980 to 2002. Dr. Parsley saw what students came to school “without.” To help meet those needs, he established the Vancouver School District Foundation, the first K-12 educational foundation in the region.
