Discover the timeless game of American Mahjong with your gals this Febuary, instructed by Lady Mahj.
Designed for absolute beginners or those just starting their Mahjong journey, this immersive experience combines the thrill of learning with others - while enjoying the unmatched setting and hospitality of Bayou & Bottle.
You’ll learn:
- The fundamentals of American Mahjong
- Core rules and gameplay
- Hands-on practice with a full game
By the end of the session, you’ll leave with a strong foundation and the confidence to continue playing.
Your Experience Includes:
- One handcrafted martini (Vesper, Jasmine Kumquat, or Zest & Bloom ) or a cocktail from Bayou & Bottle’s signature collection
- A choice of appetizer: Pimento Cheese, Ribeye Chicharrón with Guacamole, or Boiled Peanut Hummus
- Two hours of guided Mahjong instruction and play with Lady Mahj
Recommendation:
If you’re new to Mahjong, we highly recommend starting with Mahjong 101 before moving on to Mahjong 201. This introductory session lays the foundation for successful and enjoyable play.
About Becky Livingstone (Lady Mahj)
A Houstonian of nearly two decades by way of England, Becky Livingstone brings an elegant blend of teaching, storytelling, and Mahjong mastery to every table. What began as a personal passion has become a full-time vocation—one through which she has guided more than 1,000 students in private lessons, workshops, and events.
Her sessions at Bayou & Bottle are social, engaging, and hands-on—inviting guests to learn through play while enjoying exceptional hospitality in true Four Seasons style.
