Join us for Mahjong 101, where you'll dive into the fascinating world of National American Mahjong, a game rooted in a 300-year-old Chinese tradition. Whether you’re new to Mahjong or looking to refresh your skills, Mahjong 101 provides a solid foundation in this skillful game of strategy and luck. This course covers everything you need to get started.
Day 1 of Training:
- Understanding the different tiles
- Setting up the game
- Mastering the Charleston, racking, and breaking the wall
- Picking a winning hand
Day 2 of Training:
- Taking the skills learned in day 1 to the test with actual gameplay and strategies
- Understanding the pace of play
- Defensive techniques and how to read your opponents’ hands

The workshop/training fee is per person. Due to space constraints in Boxwood, we ask that your friend, soulmate, children, mom, etc. should not plan to attend class unless they purchase a ticket as well. Thank you for understanding.
