Join us for a mahjong 101 class! This is a instructional event where we will teach you everything you need to know to play the game!
About this Event

Come learn to play mahjong with hands-on instruction from the Mint Julep Mahjong experts. We keep classes small with a 4:1 student-to-teacher ratio and teach exclusively using the official NMJL rules, so you’ll leave confident and ready to play. Your ticket includes all learning materials, dinner from Chicken Salad Chick and a drink. We’ll be playing in a private room inside the restaurant for a relaxed, fun experience.

WHAT TO BRING: yourself - we have everything you need! If you have a 2025 NMJL card, feel free to bring it!

RSVP via Eventbrite as well as Venmo by February 14th. (non-refundable). Registration alone will not secure your spot. Please Venmo within 24 hours of registering.

Doors will open at 5:45 pm teaching to being promptly at 6pm.
