Maha Shivaratri Celebration
With the grace of Lord Shiva we are gearing up to celebrate the upcoming Maha Shivarathiri festival in a grand way.
We welcome you all to join us in the celebrations at the Hindu Mandir. Please note everyone will get a chance to do abhishek so please follow Satvik food (fruits and milk) and join us at the temple in traditional attire.
Venue: Edinburgh Hindu Mandir and Cultural Centre, St Andrew Pl, Leith, Edinburgh EH6 7EG

Program Schedule:
* Bhajan Session: 05:30 PM - 07:00 PM
* Collective Shiva Abhishek: 07:00 PM 08:30 PM
• Shiva Maha Aarti: 08:30 PM
• Main Temple Aarti: 08:50
• Mahaprasad: Starts from 07:15 PM
Important Notice:
The temple will remain open for Abhishek from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM throughout the day. Devotees can perform Abhishek at their convenience.

Become the main Yajman for the puja on the auspicious day of ShivRatri.
Any family can sit in the samuhik shiv puja with a donation of £31 ONLY.

We do need volunteers to help to clean the temple on Tuesday ( 25/02/24) from 6:00 PM
Anyone who wishes to help with cooking is welcome - cooking will start at 12 noon on Wednesday ( 26/02/25).
We also need the help of volunteers to tidy up the temple after the event.
* Offerings of Fruits, Flowers and Indian Sweets are always welcomed.
