Join Yoga Garden Senior Teacher, Meadow DeFosche-Christ, for Maha Sadhana, or the Great Practice. This is a transformative, spiritual, moving meditation designed to help guide us toward the true goal of Yoga, which is to realize our true nature as one with the Divine. In this extended class, we will start with pranayama (breath work) and mantra, followed by an all-levels asana practice designed to open the body and to move prana throughout the systems, preparing the body for meditation and making us more receptive to our divine nature. Participants are encouraged to work at their own level, and explore the sensations that arise. Variations and modifications will be offered. We will conclude with a guided meditation and an eternal OM (held through several breath iterations).
Attend with an open heart and mind. All are welcome with a basic understanding of yoga asana.
