Join us for our BIG Fall adventure for 2024. This year our adventures will take us to Magnificent Michigan! We will depart Redstone on Sunday, October 6th in the early morning and make our way to Frankenmuth, Michigan. You will have the afternoon to enjoy the fabulous Christmas shops of this delightful village before we enjoy the traditional family style Frankenmuth dinner. We will overnight in Birch Run, close to Frankenmuth. On Monday morning we will make our way to the ferry depot for the short ride to Mackinac Island. We will spend two nights ON THE ISLAND, returning to the hotel that we enjoyed so much in the past, the Murray Hotel. This hotel is located right in the downtown area and is a delightful blast from the past with a fudge shop and breakfast bar that includes bread pudding made from leftover donuts! Most of your time on the island will be free time, but on Tuesday we will enjoy a carriage tour of the Island, a tour of the Grand Hotel, and an opportunity to enjoy the incredible lunch buffet at the Grand. Come hungry!
On Wednesday we will make our way back to the mainland and continue on our way to the famous Elk Lodge. We will spend one night at the lodge and enjoy the traditional wagon tour to view the elk, and a five-course food and wine picnic.
On Thursday, we will head back south to Dearborn, Michigan where we will spend the afternoon visiting the Ford Museum. We’ll enjoy a group dinner at Ford’s Restaurant and an overnight.
On Friday morning you will get to choose between visiting the Ford Factory for a tour of where they make trucks, or the Ford Historic Village. After lunch on our own we’ll make our way back to Redstone, arriving around 8 pm.
Price will be $1,540 per person in a single room, $1,222 per person in a double room, $1,116 per person in a triple room, and$1,072 per person in a quad room. Rooms will have two queen beds in each room. Prices include deluxe motorcoach, driver gratuity, five nights hotel, five breakfasts, three dinners, and one lunch, all tours and activities as described.
Because we offer transparency in pricing and don’t build a profit margin into the trips, we ask participants to consider making a charitable donation to Redstone to help support our benevolent care programs. Gifts of all sizes are welcome, and a gift of $50 per person is suggested for a trip of this size and scope.
A $100 deposit holds your spot. Call Just at 724-832-8401 X 3378 to make your reservation.
