Magnificat March 2025 Meal

Welcome to the Magnificat Meal-March 2025 event! Join us at Corpus Christi Catholic Church for a day filled with delicious food, great company, and uplifting conversations. Come and gather with men and women from all over the valley, as we gather to share this meal, sing, pray & hear the testimony of one person who will tell how God has worked in their life. In this way, we MAGNIFY the name of the Lord & honor Our Blessed Mother.

For this meal come hear Gloria Roberts, who is a native of Arizona and born and raised primarily in Tucson. Growing up in a devout Catholic, Hispanic, military family came with many challenges. While stationed in San Antonio Texas, she met her husband Barry. They have been married for 40 years, and have three grown children and 10 grandchildren. Although raised as a cradle Catholic, she encountered a crisis of faith as a young teenager and fell away from the church. However, her life changed when she had what she calls her own “road to Damascus experience”. Her encounter with Jesus was nothing short of miraculous. For the last 46 years, she has shared her testimony of losing her way due to alcoholism, teenage pregnancy, and a promiscuous lifestyle. But after a life-altering experience, the Lord called her into a ministry of evangelization. She has spoken at many Bible studies, conferences and Missions, and over the years has created and worked in many ministries within the church experience. Living a life of faith comes with its challenges as well. She shares how her faith helped her overcome terminal cancer, the loss of a spouse, and children involved with drugs and gangs.

Please, bring a friend, a neighbor, or maybe a relative who doesn't go to church anymore. They may not go to church with you, but who doesn't love to go out for lunch? Magnificat is often a way back to the Church. Dress is nice, casual.
