The Magnes Museum in Berkeley is showing "Flowing Through Time and Tradition". The theme of this new exhibit is the interaction of water with Jewish life. Think the creation of the world, parting of the Red Sea and Noah's Ark; view water as both a source of life and of destruction. Art pieces on display range from the 16th to the 20th centuries, and from many countries like India, Russia, Israel, Belgium, Syria, Egypt, Cyprus and the US. There will be time to view other collections at the Magnes.
