Have you ever wanted to try Magic: the Gathering, but not known where to start? Have you picked up a Starter Deck and found yourself overwhelmed shuffling through the cards with all of the rules and keywords? Do you have a hard time remembering 'Untap, Upkeep, Draw'? Well, this is the event for you...Magic: the Gathering Foundations is the perfect time for beginners to jump in to the multiplanar universes of M:tG. Magic Academy is a brand-new initiative designed to help guide new players on their journey into this expansive (and addictive) card game!
For this first event we'll be focussing on Learning to Play, with beginner decks provided and expert volunteers on hand to answer all of your questions - you don't need to bring anything with you!
Entry is just £5 and is payable on arrival. The event will be open all evening, so feel free to turn up any time after 6pm.
