What is it ?
Magic: The Gathering Standard Showdown.
Standard Showdown is a weekly Standard play program, where players will gather to face off in tournaments using their Standard decks. The Lunar New Year Kickoff promos provide a participation promo along with winner prize promos.
Each week at Standard Showdown events, players face off for their chance to win incredible weekly promos as well! It's an incredible opportunity to bolster repeat play and Standard play at your store.
With the recent expansion of the Standard rotation, your community has even more time to refine their decks and enjoy their collections—and with Standard Showdown, they'll have more opportunities to test their mettle against other competitive players in the community. These are friendly tournaments; teaching the game, camaraderie and having fun are just as important as the competition.

Every Sunday in February - March (as long as they send us promos)

What does it cost?
$10. Use 5 RTG Reward cards to reduce this cost by $5

What do you get?
Everyone gets to have Magic fun with friends, old and new, in a friendly, warm, and welcoming environment.
For prizes, everyone gets 1 Magic booster, an RTG Reward card stamp, and at least 1 promo card.
The winner gets a promo pack (while supplies last), a full RTG reward card, and a special promo
Top 3 finishers each get store credit, based on the number of players.

All non-booster prizes require that you use or provide us with a Wizards email account. This is how we get allocations for future events.

Are there any restrictions??
This event is capped at a certain number of players.
Please do not register unless you are certain you can play as you may prevent someone else from being able to play.
Failure to show for your reservation may impact your ability to reserve future seats.
If you are ill please do not come in and play.
Please do not bring sodas and snacks into the store as we sell a wide array of them.
