Sean will weave his personal story of transitioning from a trial lawyer to a magician in interactive mind-blowing magical routines. In this parlor show Sean will demonstrate the limitations of the human mind through techniques he learned as a student of the ancient art of sleight of hand and a lifetime as a trial lawyer. Sean reveals how perception can be manipulated and how easily the mind can be deceived. He aims to entertain while provoking though about the intricacies of the human mind making it a memorable experience that resonates long after the final curtain. Come be amazed amused and confused.

What is Parlor Magic? Some magic historians have called parlor magic “the chamber music of magic”. In the 18th and 19th century long before the advent of television it was customary in high society to host gatherings or parlor parties and invite several artists or ask one of the guests to entertain the group. Parlor magic first surfaced in France where such a magician was called a magician de salon. In Victorian England it was called the drawing room entertainer or parlor conjurer. In Italy prestigiatoreda Salotto and in Germany a Salonzauberer. The peak of this style of magic was the late 1800s and the first few decades of the1900s. There are certain distinct features that characterize a parlor magic show. It is for a small audience in an intimate setting. It features a standing performer without assistance or obvious apparatus engaging storytelling and exquisite sleight of hand.
