Join us for an enchanting exploration of avian wonders during our “Magic of Migration” event at Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge! In celebration of World Migratory Bird Day, this immersive program invites bird enthusiasts of all ages to delve into the incredible journeys undertaken by migratory birds around the globe.Highlights of the Program –
Interactive Presentation:
Learn about the science and significance of bird migration. Discover the extraordinary navigational skills that guide species across continents and hear stories of their amazing journeys.
Live Bird Demonstration:
Get up close with a Wildlife Ambassador.
Guided Walk:
Enjoy a guided walk through Cedar Run’s Wildlife Housing Area, where our Educators will point out local bird species and discuss their migration patterns.
Family-Friendly –
The 10:30am session of this program is best suited for children ages 5-10 and their families. The 1:00pm session is geared more towards our older set (ages 10-adult). This program runs 1hr+, not to exceed 90 minutes.
Registration –
$15/adult, $10/child. 20 participants maximum per time slot. Advanced registration required. Fee includes daily admission to the Refuge for the participant.
