Calling all magical folk!
You're invited to attend The Magic of Literacy, a fantastical and FREE event that celebrates reading!
So, how will the event work?
Upon entering the Choo Choo atrium, you will be selected to become either a Water, Fire, Earth, or Air Reader. From there, you will visit four literary genre realms where there will be themed activities, book recommendations, and more! After visiting the realms, you will be granted a book (while supplies last) and the ultimate title of Story Sage!
How much does the event cost?
It’s free! Moms for Social Justice welcomes donations to help support this event and others.
Can my kid or I dress up?
YES! Everyone is welcome to attend in a costume!
What accommodations will there be?
The Choo Choo is handicapped accessible.
We will have a quiet area with sensory items for those who feel overwhelmed at the event.
We are thrilled to be partnering with A Bewitched Bazaar, a witchy, woman-run vendor market that will be taking place in the outdoor space of the Chattanooga Choo Choo during our event. We encourage you to enjoy both events!
Moms for Social Justice is a 501(c)(4) whose mission includes engaging the community around social equity issues, including access to inclusive literature.
