🎬 Magic Hour Film Academy – Fall 2025 SemesterSeptember 22 – December 11, 2025 | Carrick, Pittsburgh
The Magic Hour Film Academy (also known as Pittsburgh Film Academy) is an after-school program for teens that blends creativity, collaboration, and career exploration. Students in grades 9–12 are welcome to enroll. If you have younger students or someone out of high school who is interested, please contact us—we want to mentor and create with everyone who wants to learn.
📅 Program Schedule
- Monday–Thursday | 4–8 PM
- Students can arrive early (3–4 PM) to hang out, do homework, or relax before class.
- 101 Club (Tuesdays & Thursdays): For new students learning the basics.
- Crew Club (Mondays & Wednesdays): For returning or more experienced students building on their skills.
- All enrolled students are welcome up to four days a week

The program is run by Magic Hour Creative, a nonprofit arts and media organization in Pittsburgh, fiscally sponsored by New Sun Rising.
🎟️ Enrollment is open now! Our goal is to welcome 10–15 students this semester.
Tuition is $1,500 per student per semester. We want everyone to be included—payment plans and other options can be discussed. To secure a spot, families can pay a $20 deposit via Eventbright or our website or contact us directly.
