about the medicine:
Huachuma is one of Peru's most sacred & ancient cactus medicine plants. Archeological findings indicated that Huachuma is the oldest recorded psychedelic medicine.
The word Huachuma means, in Quechua*, "without head".
The name given by the Spanish conquistadors is the Alias, San Pedro or st Peter - the one who holds the keys to heaven.
Huachuma is a medicine that may produce visions and dreamlike states that facilitate healing, transformation, heart-opening experiences, and a deeper connection to self and Great Spirit.
It is considered a visionary plant that can facilitate clarity and focus for the way forward and may foster a profound sense of the sacredness and interconnectedness.
Medical research into Huachuma has shown that it may lower high blood pressure, reduce the risk of cardiac disease, have anti-inflammatory, anti bacterial, as well as depression anxiety & alleviating properties.
