About the Workshop

Try your hand at crafting our reimagined Qixi Festival pastries Qiao Guo (巧果)! Each 巧果 is shaped like our adorable Qixi Fest mascot Qiqi - the leader of the magpies.

Learn about the "Cowherd and Weaver Girl" Chinese classic, why Qiqi is bald, the values behind Qixi Festival and more, while savouring your very own Qiqi Qiao Guos!

Bridging Generations is a Singapore-based heritage social enterprise that uncovers, documents, and reimagines long-forgotten cultural assets in innovative ways that engage the young and old. We offer research and curatorial services across diverse mediums including workshops, exhibitions, talks, festivals, films, digital transformation solutions, and new product development.

Our flagship event Qixi Fest (七夕乞巧嘉年华) is an initiative to revive one of the eight traditional Chinese festivals in Singapore – Qixi Festival (七夕节, the "wish upon the stars festival"). Building on our track record, Qixi Fest 2024 is slated to attract over 500,000 attendees with our specially curated programmes featuring Cultural Medallions, chess prodigy, the release of Singapore's very own Qixi festival pastry, and more!
