The Madrigal Dinner is a Renaissance-themed show performed by the Moberly High School Chamber Singers. Set in a grand hall transformed into a 16th-century court, guests will be immersed in the romantic misadventures of “Much Ado About Nothing” by William Shakespeare. The timeless tale of Beatrice and Benedick’s witty rivalry and unexpected affection will unfold around you, brought to life by our talented cast. Throughout the evening, our singers will serenade guests with beautiful music from the Renaissance era. A delicious, period-inspired meal will be served as the drama and music fill the air. This one-of-a-kind Valentine’s Day event offers a perfect blend of romance, humor, and history. Costumed performers will bring the spirit of the Renaissance to every table, engaging guests in an unforgettable experience. Proceeds benefit the Moberly Area Council on the Arts, as well as the MHS Choir program, supporting future performances, travel, and music education opportunities.
