We happily invite you to a very intimate Madhara concert!
This will be a very cozy evening for those who love music and dancing freely, without the use of drugs or alcohol. There is limited capacity of only 40 dancers so we advise you to get your tickets fast! We will serve tea and water but you are very welcome to bring your own snacks and (non-alcoholic) drinks.
This concert will take place at the center of Khulana Ecstatic Dance in The Hague.
About Madhara;
Madhara has crafted a special set for ecstatic dance!
Drawing from the rich traditions of India, Brazil, and the Middle East, this band offers a blend of sounds that creates a transformative live performance.
The band has a broad range of instruments that enables them to create a dynamic live set. Clarinet, violin and harmonic vocals are accompanied by drums, percussion, bass and deep synth layers. Coming from a jazz background, all the musicians are skilled in improvisation. From their shared love for traveling, the group makes musical souvenirs from the elements of their favorite musical traditions.
