MADELYN is an artist that has been creating her own original sound, style and fashion that fuses together, creating the complete audio visual experience.
Since releasing her first debut self-titled EP ‘Human’ in 2014, MADELYN has had a line-up of over 400 live shows, including the supports of Toni Childs, Karise Eden, Thirsty Merc and The Choir Boys.
Born and raised on a little farm on the East Coast of Australia, MADELYN grew up immersed in country & folk music. At a young age of 4, MADELYN started piano and soon taught herself to play the acoustic guitar. Throughout the schooling years, MADELYN started attending NIDA Workshops for musical theatre and soon entered the songwriting realm. MADELYN wrote, recorded and released her first track ‘Summer’ at just 13 years of age with teacher and now manager, Ian Sandercoe (Tap Dogs, FOX & Standard Music Publishing (AUS)
After knowing that songwriting was her realm and vision, MADELYN pursued music through the continuum of live shows to really discover her artistry of where she sat within the industry standards.
MADELYN received her first distribution deal through MGM Groove Merchants (AUS) with Sebastian Chase which furthered her E.P ‘Human’ to a broader audience landing in the Top Adult Hits in the UK in 2014. MADELYN describes her first E.P ‘Human’ as an ‘Beginning of something new and the start of something better’. Now at 21 years of age, MADELYN has been nominated for the Young Achiever Award Australia and finds herself on the home run of a new self-titled debut album being produced in Nashville - Tennessee (US) set to be released in 2018.
