WORKSHOP 0331 – “PROTECT ME”Progettazione e produzione upcycled

Un laboratorio intensivo di due giorni dedicato all’upcycling come pratica di ricerca e design. I partecipanti lavoreranno su capi forniti per metà dall’archivio Madeback e per metà dal collettivo 0331, trasformandoli in prototipi unici guidati dal team 0331.

Il workshop, ospitato da Happytime Studio, spazio sartoriale condiviso che unisce progettazione, tecniche tessili e sperimentazione, sarà incentrato sul tema PROTECT ME, la collezione di 0331 che esplora la protezione in tutte le sue forme – dalle armature al design tecnico, dai riferimenti militari ai codici religiosi, fino all’idea di privacy – invitando i partecipanti a reinterpretare i codici visivi e progettuali del collettivo.

Guidati dal team 0331, i partecipanti trasformeranno i capi in prototipi unici, seguendo un brief e una timeline definita.

Al termine, le creazioni verranno inserite nello swap market del festival Madeback (15-17 ottobre), presso il Living Lab – TooCoolToGoWasted (Dipartimento di Design), Ed. B4, Campus Bovisa Durando – Politecnico di Milano, dove potranno essere scambiate o adottate dai visitatori, trovando nuova vita.

WORKSHOP 0331 – “PROTECT ME”Upcycled Design and Production

A two-day intensive workshop dedicated to upcycling as a practice of research and design. Participants will work on garments provided half by the Madeback archive and half by the 0331 collective, transforming them into unique prototypes guided by the 0331 team.

The workshop, hosted at Happytime Studio, a shared sartorial space combining design, textile techniques, and experimentation, will focus on the theme PROTECT ME, 0331’s collection exploring protection in all its forms – from armor to technical design, from military references to religious codes, and the concept of privacy – inviting participants to reinterpret the collective’s visual and design codes.

Guided by the 0331 team, participants will turn the garments into unique prototypes following a defined brief and timeline.

At the end of the workshop, the creations will be included in the Madeback festival swap market (October 15–17) at the Living Lab – TooCoolToGoWasted (Department of Design), Ed. B4, Campus Bovisa Durando – Politecnico di Milano, where they can be exchanged or adopted by visitors, giving the pieces a new life.
