Creative Arts Workshop (CAW) proudly presents , a solo exhibition of artwork by New Haven native and Artist Corps 2024-2025 artist,
Join us to celebrate Brantley's art with refreshments, DJ, and a live performance!
shares the deeply personal and profound stories of Black men and boys who have shaped Brantley’s life. Through portrait paintings and audio interviews, Brantley reveals their dynamic dimensions, showcasing their resilience, strength, and visions of prosperity.
Alongside these family portraits, come to see a broader series of portraits of Black boys and men, offering a poignant and celebratory perspective.
Can't make the celebration? The exhibition is on view January 31 - March 1, 2025. The Hilles Gallery at Creative Arts Workshop is free and open to the public. Gallery hours are Monday – Friday from 10 AM to 7 PM, Saturday from 10 AM – 4 PM, and Sunday 1 PM - 4 PM.
This exhibition is supported by Artist Corps New Haven and continues CAW’s sixth annual Made Visible series. The series celebrates the art and lives of Black and Brown artists who are traditionally underrepresented in gallery spaces.
