About this Event
Made in God’s Image: Gender Diversity & Sacred Belonging is a two-week, after-church symposium exploring gender diversity through Scripture, theology, and lived faith. Together, we will learn how gender diversity appears across cultures and in the Bible, how Christians understand gender identity and expression today, and how God’s creativity is reflected in every body.
Week one offers a teaching session focused on language, biblical perspectives, and theological grounding. Week two features a panel conversation with people of diverse gender identities sharing their faith journeys, followed by guided conversation and respectful Q&A.
This symposium is designed for anyone who wants to grow in understanding, ask honest questions, deepen their faith, or learn how to better love their neighbors. You can expect thoughtful teaching, personal stories, space for curiosity, and a spirit of grace—not debate.
All are welcome. No prior knowledge required.
