Op 10 september vertoont Lumière de eerste film in een reeks die onderzoekt hoe maatschappelijke problemen overal ter wereld met elkaar verbonden zijn. Na afloop gaan we in gesprek met de regisseur. Q&A is Engels gesproken.In samenwerking met de onderzoeksgroep Globalisation, Transnationalism and Development (GTD) van de Universiteit Maastricht vertoont Lumière Maastricht de documentaire Made In Ethiopia, over de komst van een Chinees fabriekscomplex naar het Ethiopische platteland. De onderzoeksgroep leidt de film in en houdt na afloop van de vertoning een nagesprek met de regisseur.

On 10 September, Lumière will screen the first film in a series exploring how social issues around the world are interconnected. Afterwards, there will be a Q&A with the director.
In collaboration with the Globalisation, Transnationalism and Development (GTD) research group at Maastricht University, Lumière Maastricht will screen the documentary Made In Ethiopia, about the arrival of a Chinese factory complex in rural Ethiopia. The research group will introduce the film and, after the screening, host a Q&A with the director.
