Mad Rollers are a 5-piece modern rock’n’roll band from Rome, the new centre of modern rock’n’roll. They are equal parts 70s glam, proto-punk and pub rock with a soupçon of Oi thrown in for good measure.Like every band before them, Mad Rollers sing about girls, but not in the traditional sense of “boy meets girl”. In the world of Mad Rollers: boy meets girl meets trouble. The lethal leading ladies of a pulp fiction nightmare novel are the type of girls Mad Rollers bring home to meet Mom and Dad. And, in Mad Rollers’ case, you need to make sure Mom’s not packing a gun. In summary, Mad Rollers want to have a “good time” with a “bad girl”.
And if there’s trouble along the way, they’ll deal with it... Mad Rollers-style.
“Get Mad” is Mad Rollers’ debut LP. The influence of Giuda and Junkshop Glam on their brand of rock’n’roll is undeniable -Danilo ex-Giuda has just joined their ranks on bass guitar- but the world’s a Clockwork Orange, as Verity once sang; it’s a post-pandemic world where everyone is suspect and trust needs to be earned; a grey world that’s about to turn black‘n’blue as Mad Rollers see red and get good and mad. Get Mad with them...

SHINER - Currently fronted by J-J-J-Jenny from Madame Mutante, Shiner are a Bath-based punk band formed in 2019 but with their roots in 1977 and their name taken from a fictitious bovver rock group from a glam rock film screenplay.
“The most ’77-sounding band I have ever heard… like a Raw Records/Roxy demo.” – Wayne Elliott (Pulsebeat host)
“A glorious throwback to a time when there was a rough and ready punk rock band on every street corner in every town in the country.” – Mick Fletcher (Just Some Punk Songs)
PLUS OF COURSE the usual YLS DJs spinning post-punk, proto-punk, punkish glam, punkish mod, punky mcpunkface and punk (etc) plus possibly some punk....
