Mad Dog Mcrea blend a unique mixture of folk rock, pop, gypsy jazz, bluegrass and ‘shake your ass’ music. From self-penned songs of adventure, drinking, love and life, to traditional
songs of gypsies, fairies, legless pirates and black flies – Mad Dog never fail to capture their audience with their infectious songs. In constant demand and having played just about every festival and two-bit, jibe-arsed dive in Christendom, Mad Dog Mcrea are, in every sense of the word, a live, band.
As if a night of Mad Dog Mcrea maadness wasn't enough, Banjovial have been added to the bill. From self-penned songs of seafaring and misadventure to sing-along folk ballads and shanties dutifully mixed with fast paced jigs and reels, this genre defining trio have made a space they proudly refer to as Shanty Grass. Big songs and banjos.....what else could you want?

For individual assistance please contact the venue direct. We have easy access to the event space on the flat and can provide parking on site and assistance with entry where required. We offer free assistance tickets. We currently have steps down in our loos (the nearest fully accessible loos are Tescos) but we aim to have a fully accessible bathroom facility in the ground floor as soon as we can.
