Get ready to celebrate the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day with an afternoon of Irish dance, music, and community! We’re continuing our Dancing at the Pavilion series with Mactír Academy of Irish Dance, bringing lively rhythms, welcoming lessons, and plenty of chances to move.
Wear your favorite green and get ready to step, stomp, and shuffle—whether it’s your very first time or you already know a few moves. Lessons are designed to be beginner-friendly, with space for more experienced dancers to have fun too.
Led by Mactír’s owner, directors, and head instructors, Emily and Ciara, the academy uses Irish dance as a vehicle to build confidence, discipline, and values—helping dancers develop lifelong qualities both on and off the dance floor.
Come with friends or come solo—no partner needed. Just show up ready to move and have fun in one of Minneapolis’ most beautiful indoor park spaces.
