On October 4, 2025 let your kids enjoy Mactaquac Provincial Park while running around the Beaver Pond. The course is 1.2 kilometer long and (grand)parents/caretakers are encouraged to run with their kiddos, chasing a banana!The run is free; you just have to sign a waiver to be able to participate. After the run there will be a little reward for the kids and some snacks too, sponsored by Giant Tiger on the North Side!
All kids from 3-10 years old can participate, but we will not make a big deal if a 2 or 11 year old wants to participate; full responsibility for the kiddos remain with the parents/caretakers!
Registration: 12:30 - 1 pm
Run: 1pm
How to get to the Beaver Pond/where to park?
Coming from the Mactaquac Dam you continue on Route 105, crossing the causeway across the Mactaquac Head Pond; drive past the Ultramar on your right hand side, follow the road when it turns left and after a couple of hundred meters there is a big parking lot on your right hand side (watch for signs on your right). This is where you park; you have to walk a couple of hundred meters to the start.
The start of the run will be at the small parking lot at the Beaver Pond.
