Wednesday July 21, 2021—7:00–9:00 PM, Planning session
Zoom session: We will discuss the optional equipment that you may or may not already own (close-up attachment lenses, extension rings, macro lens). We will also discuss shooting close-ups of butterflies and other insects with long lenses.
Saturday, July 24, 2021—9:00 AM–11:00 PM, Field Photography
We will meet at Leu Gardens, and immediately set out to the Butterfly Garden and other niches throughout the grounds. We will cover photography of wildflowers, insects, butterflies, and other small creatures. You will look at small nature subjects from a whole new perspective, and visually study their beauty (in a brand-new light—both literally and figuratively).
Wednesday July 28, 2021—7:00–9:00 PM, Show and tell critique session
Zoom session: Constructive critique sessions are probably the most valuable experiences for any photographer. This session will also show how to bring your photos to their maximum visual quality using computer pos-processing.
