Create your own angel Christmas decoration with macramé. Macramé is the art of knotting string or cord in patterns to make decorative articles.
The knots used are Lark’s Head and Double Half Hitch along with wrapping, threading and fraying.
Who is the course for?
No experience is necessary as you will be taught all of the techniques. This workshop is open to children aged 12+, however each child is required to attend alongside a full fee paying adult.
The course is aimed for anyone who would like to make something new and creative or a decorative piece for Christmas.
If you have experience of macramé then you are welcome to join in the relaxed environment to expand your creativity.
The course is aimed for anyone who would like to make something a little different this year for their decorations, either for yourself or to give as a gift.
Will I have to provide anything?
All macramé cord, rings and beads will be provided in the course price. Please bring a tape measure, a pair of sharp scissors and a comb or pet brush for brushing out the fringing.
