Macramé is the relaxing art of tying knots to create decorative items, with its roots in the Middle East. In this workshop, we will incorporate weaving concepts to create your own beautiful Macramé Geometric Hanging!Topics covered in the workshop include:
– Simple knotting and weaving instructions and demonstrations, suitable for beginners or people with some macramé experience
– Tips for planning your weaving design and achieving a professional finish
– Macrame supplies information and advice on selecting materials for projects
No previous macramé or weaving experience is necessary, although this workshop also works for previous workshop attendees.

Once you pay, I will email you to choose your string colors to get a general idea of your ideal color palette. On the day of the workshop, you can also choose the same or any different colors from any leftover string in case something strikes your fancy. ?
Then I will email workshop details the week before as well.

Health and Safety:
Due to social distancing guidelines, we are limited to 10 participants.
Each participant will have their own workspace with her own clothing rack to work from and tool set which will be sanitized directly prior to the workshop. You will be asked to wear a mask throughout the workshop as country-wide guidelines dictate at the time of the workshop (unless enjoying your brunch!). Hand sanitizer and sanitizer wipes, as well as extra masks and gloves will be available too.

Ts & Cs:
If you pay for your workshop online, we can offer a refund (minus a small transaction fee) up until 7 days before the workshop. After that time, we are unable to offer a refund for cancellations but will gladly honor a credit of the same amount to be used at a future Turquoise workshop or on a DIY Kit.
