Join us for this introductory class where our workshop leader Cheryl Gardner will show you the basics of the macrame knots and how to create a Christmas decoration for you to take home. Macrame has a long history and is currently having a resurgence amongst crafters.Once the basic techniques are mastered the possibilities for creating are endless from jewellery to wall hangings.
Macrame is great for beginners as you don't need to purchase lots of equipment to get going.
In this class you will be able to borrow a clipboard to work on and you will receive enough yarn to complete the project.
This class is suitable for all ages from 9+ years. Maximum of 8 people per session.
