Native American Ceramics & Totems
June 10-14 * 9am -12pm
Build a traditional style coil pot to smooth, burnish, and carve symbolic cultural motifs. Also sculpt a large scale ‘family totem’ representing each student’s family member as an animal.
Medieval
June 24-28 * 9am-12pm
Hand-build an elaborate castle using clay slabs, complete with battlements, a dungeon, a dragon, a ‘glass’ moat, and a family crest.
Fake Food
June 17-21 * 9am-12pm
Trompe l’oeil for food. Make and decorate all your favorite food and deserts. Whether it’s hamburgers, or sushi, a banana split, or a grand slam breakfast, this class is always a blast!
Strange Beasts
July 8-12 * 9am-12pm
Let’s celebrate some of the most bizarre animals in existence! From pangolins, to tarsiers, to sparklemuffins, to name a few. Bring a photo of your own favorite creature to create on Friday!
Porcelain Miniature Art and Jewelry
July 22-26 * 1pm-4pm
Tiny and precious charms, treasures, pendants, beads, and rings designed and fabricated out of porcelain, the finest and hardest clay in the world.
