Tuesday, February 18th, at 7:00 pm: MACOMB FAN IN-PERSON FORUM (Free naloxone training prior to forum at 5:45 pm.) Location: St. Michael's Catholic Church, 40501 Hayes Rd., Sterling Heights, MI 48313.
𝗧𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗰: "𝗣𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀: 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗡𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆"
Join us for our March Macomb FAN Forum as we explore how a Peer Recovery Coach (PRC) can be an integral part of someone's recovery journey. PRCs are men and women in long-term recovery who have completed state-certified training, and their experience and knowledge can help guide others, keep them on the right path, and greatly improve a person's chances for recovery success. At this forum, we’ll present a panel of two PRCs and two participants, who will discuss our Navigate Peer Recovery Coaching program and the difference it can make in people's lives. You'll also learn things like how families can help their loved ones recover, and get an understanding of a person's challenges in early recovery. In addition, the panel will provide advice on topics like "What was the hardest part of early recovery and how did you get through it?" This is an open forum and all are welcome! So, bring your family, friends, and any questions you might like to ask of our panel. Refreshments will be provided.
