Cost for transportation: $225 per seat. This price includes transportation both ways and drivers tips.
We will depart from Ingles Kingsport TN
On Friday June 14th. We will load at 4:30pm. Depart at 5pm.
We will travel thru the night. NO hotel. This is a Red Eye trip.
We will make plenty of stops. Usually every 2-3 hours for 30 min each stop thru the night. The last stop will be for everyone to get ready for the day. That stop is usually @ an hour and a half. Showers are offered but not everyone can get one taken in the allotted time. There is restrooms for changing and freshening up.
We will drop off at Shepler’s Ferry Dock @ 8:30a. They open at 7:30 for 1st Ferry ride over. You’ll have to ferry over to the island. Cost is $34 round trip. Hold onto your ticket.
They also add ins offered. Like a Carriage rides as well of the island for addition fee. You can rent bikes for additional fee once you are on the island. They have plenty to rent and no reserving is necessary for bikes. The island is 8.2 miles that you can ride the bike around and see different landmarks. The carriage ride also gives you a little history of the island. At drop off is Mackinac city, and there is shopping and restaurants there. On the island, there is lots of restaurants, lots of shopping, and enormous amounts of fudge shops. There is also dinner boat tours that you can look into and take that day evening or night.

Last Ferry of the night is 9pm. Don’t miss it.
We will reload Saturday night at 9:45pm to head home.
We will make plenty of stops on the way home.
You can bring toiletries, change of clothes, pillows, blankets, neck pillows, and your plug-in charger for your phone. Anything that you do not need throughout the day you can leave it on the bus in your seat. It will be there when you return the bus will not be available for any thing left behind they leave the area and go to a hotel and get some rest and sleep.
For the comfort of ever one we try to keep it at a reasonable temperature on the bus if you are cold, please make sure that you layer, if you are hot please do not layer but dress accordingly or lightly.
As for on the island I was there the second week of August and it was cool sweatshirts were needed and or light jackets and shorts or jeans. Just FYI. It can be windy and wet on the Ferry ride up too.
Make plans to eat ice cream at the Scottie’s which is located at the Grand Hotel. Yummy!
Check out the flower gardens at The Grand Hotel. Lots of beautiful homes on the island but no cars.
To reserve you can pay a non refundable deposit of $150 per seat to secure seats. Then balance will be due by April 1st 2024. Failure to pay by April 1st you’ll forfeit your seats & money. No REFUNDS can be given. Please make sure your calendar is free. I also understand that emergencies do arise, but I still cannot give a refund the seats are your seats. If you see that you cannot go you are welcome to resell to anyone that you know that would like to go or you can gift them to anyone. If the name(s) change please let me know in advance before we depart on that Friday, June 14.
To reserve I take Apple Pay, Zell, Facebook messenger through my personal page or you can mail a check in the next 2 to 3 days.
Seating on the bus is first come first serve no reserve seating. Once you arrive at Ingles on that Friday, June 14 we lineup and you load the bus in the order that you arrived that evening on the sidewalk, the opposite end of Ingles front doors. We load in front of the vacant building to the left. We park along the brick wall behind McDonald’s all the way to the far left and we do not park in any customer parking for Ingles.
