About this Event
Want to help a salmon-bearing stream this fall? Come out to Lower MacKay Creek and help us replant an area with native species that will benefit birds, fish, and many other wildlife species. Thank you to Tree Canada for helping to make this event possible!
The map on Eventbrite doesn't show the meeting location. We will be meeting by the pedestrian overpass HERE.
Parking is available along West 1st Street, Lloyd Avenue, and at the Capilano Mall. The 240 bus also stops at the Capilano Mall.
We will provide tools, gloves, and light snacks.
Please wear closed-toed shoes , long pants and clothing appropriate for the weather that can get dirty! Please also bring the following:
- a hat
- water bottle
- sunscreen or rain gear as needed
Our events run rain or shine. If you can no longer attend, please cancel your ticket to allow others to attend, as we have limited spots available on this platform.
